grizk is an open risk engine and parametric cover for tokenized equities on Robinhood Chain. Every score is public. Every premium can be recomputed by hand. Every claim pays on an on-chain trigger, with no adjuster and no argument.
A tokenized equity is a claim on a share, held by a custodian, priced by an oracle, traded on a chain. Each link can fail. grizk covers the four failures that have nothing to do with the stock going down.
The token trades persistently below the reference price of the share it represents.
The underlying is halted, delisted or frozen for longer than the cover's threshold, and the token cannot be redeemed.
The issuer or custodian defaults, is seized, or fails attestation for longer than the threshold.
The reference price feed is stale, diverges from secondary sources, or is manipulated beyond a bound.
grizk publishes the score of every covered asset, the weight of every factor, and the curve from score to premium. If you can read this box, you can check your premium.
Parametric means the payout condition is a number the chain can read. When the number crosses the line for long enough, the contract pays. There is no claim form, no investigation, and no one to convince.
The engine reads price, attestation and halt feeds every block for every covered asset.
A trigger condition is met. A breach timer starts on-chain, publicly.
The condition must hold for the peril's window (6h–5d). Recovery inside the window cancels the breach.
Window elapses. The contract computes payout per the peril's formula for every active cover on that asset.
USDC to each covered wallet in one transaction. Cover ends. Score updates.
Anyone can deposit USDC into the pool and earn premiums. Deposits are tranched: junior takes first loss and most yield; senior takes last loss and least. Capacity per asset is capped at a fraction of pool size so one custodian failing cannot empty it.
We do not cover price. If the stock falls, that is investing. We do not cover perils whose trigger cannot be read on-chain. We do not underwrite assets scoring above 80. We do not adjust claims, because there is nothing to adjust.
We publish the pool's solvency ratio, exposure per asset and per custodian, and every payout, on-chain, always.
A risk you cannot read is a risk you are not being paid for.
The premium is a formula, or it is a negotiation.
Cover that needs an adjuster is cover that can say no.
Price is not a peril. Plumbing is.
Solvency is a number. Publish it every block.
If we would not insure it at 80, we will not insure it at 81.
